The Sedona Mountain Bike Festival, a highlight in the mountain biking calendar, has officially announced its dates for the 2025 event, set to take place from March 14-16, 2025. This year’s festival promises an exhilarating lineup of activities, including group rides, skill clinics, and live music, all set against the stunning backdrop of Sedona’s iconic red rocks. Spring break coincides with the festival, and it’s an ideal time for biking enthusiasts to join the celebration.

The Sedona Mountain Bike Festival has grown significantly over its 11-year history, becoming a premier destination for mountain biking fans from around the globe. Event Director Mike Raney expressed excitement about the festival’s evolution, stating, “Spring Break has been our dream date since the beginning. There is something for everyone, and we invite you to come join us for our 11th season.”

Friday, March 14:

  • 8:30 am – Volunteer trail work
  • 9 am – Registration and gates open
  • 10 am – First shuttle leaves
  • 1 pm – Beer garden opens
  • 6 pm – Night ride with after-party

Saturday, March 15:

  • 9 am – Registration and gates open
  • 10 am – First shuttle leaves
  • 12 pm – MTB Mindset Presentation
  • 4:30 pm – Bunny Hop Competition
  • 9:30 pm – After party

Sunday, March 16:

  • 9 am – Registration and gates open
  • 9:15 am – MTB Yoga
  • 12 pm – HT Components Pedal Giveaway winners announced

Pricing details are as follows:

  • 3-Day Pass: $225 (Early Bird: $180) – Includes bike demo & shuttle wristbands, event beer glass & custom socks (limited quantities)
  • Single Day Pass: $119 (Early Bird: $90) – Includes bike demo & shuttle wristbands

Early bird discounts will end on February 13, 2025, or when sold out. Attendees are encouraged to purchase tickets early to secure their spots.

The 2025 Sedona Mountain Bike Festival will return to Posse Grounds Park, providing easy access to trails and ample parking. Due to the event’s popularity, parking will be limited, and attendees are encouraged to bike to the event. A free bike valet service will be available for those who drive, along with free shuttles to local trailheads for pass holders.

While e-bikes are gaining popularity, it’s important to note that the US Forest Service prohibits e-bikes on all single-track trails in Sedona. Attendees planning to bring or demo an e-bike should be aware of these restrictions.
